We were recently contacted by a local journalist from Everything Mandurah who asked to interview us about our unusual life and this video is the result. We hope you enjoy it!
This Mandurah family is living on a boat and it’s amazing.
And they plan to sail the world.
We had the privilege recently of spending a day with Paul and Sheree as they gave us a peep into what family life is like living aboard Venilia Sails.

Hello there. Awesome guys just found your page and will be following now. We are a family of 5 living in Alberta Canada so not close to the ocean yet. We share your dream of buying an anwhere boat and making the change. We are currently renovating two houses to sell one to buy the boat and rent one to help fund the travels.
What kind of boat did you go with? Size and layout
Hi Grant, thanks for following us, it’s a great feeling to be able to share our adventure.
It sounds like you have a plan, and I really hope you get to where you want it to take you.
Venilia is a Roberts design of 57 ft on deck, or a little over 65 ft overall. She’s a big girl and quite daunting to be in charge of for novice sailors like us. The layout is 3 cabins with a queen bunk in the master, 2 bunks in the midships cabin and 4 bunks in the fo’c’s’le. Have a look here, it describes her in quite good detail: http://venilia.com.au/s-v-venilia/
